Good food and friendly enough staff. Its one if those "dirty" diners and is awesome. Totally clean tho. The place isn't dirty. The signs on the wall are hilarious. Price was good. Not expensive. Wish there was a place like this back home to eat at. I didn't try their baked goods but while i was there they had plenty people walk in and buy breads and cakes.

Absolutely delicious! In Falmouth for a weekend getaway and have eaten breakfast here every morning. Recommend the Portuguese cacoila eggs benedict!!

I wish I had my pictures of this cozy diner to share. Has counter with stools and regular table seating. Awesome food and menu at AWESOME prices. So cute and charming, especially for breakfast. A real local place. Just go!

Friendly and courteous service, tasty food, and a relaxing atmosphere. I went here for brunch and was surprised with how much is served for such a decent price. The menu options are abundant without being overwhelming, and the variety shows that this place would have something for everyone. Very well done food and pleasant service.

We grabbed an assortment of pastries and breakfast sandwiches from Mary Ellen's for a management retreat we did with our executives at a nearby Air Bnb -- feeding about ten people. Food was delicious and it didn't take that long for them to make the sandwiches! Great place and highly recommend, but take note they are CASH ONLY!

When I walk in I always feel like I've just stepped into the past. The smell of freshly brewed coffee and home cooked food is overwhelmingly good and how I remember diners from the early 70's to be. Its bright and cheerful inside with plenty of room to sit at the counter or at any of the tables. Open for breakfast and lunch with breakfast served from open to close and ample portions of everything. The breakfasts are outstanding, the soups are outstanding, the lunches are out standing. For all the Portuguese lovers out there, you have to try the Kale soup and Sweetbread. I just had a bowl of Kale soup (with buttered roll) and a grilled cheese. I should have only had a cup but its soooooo good.

I give this girl credit! She is approaching her 25th anniversary for a reason. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is like a family gathering. Life is precious and she perseveres like a champ! Great Job! Great Food! Great Staff! Everyone works very hard and they do their best to keep the world of Diversity, Happy and Satisfied! ***** ;)
